Have you considered wearing them not only indoors but also out in public? The Sleeks look quite gorgeous now - maybe expect for all the paint on the left shoe... If it keeps you from wearing them more regularly, why not get rid of the paint? I'm sure you can find some tools to remove most of it, be it a scraper, a knife (be cautious, though!), sandpaper, etc.
Then you could even wear them outside regularly again. I'm sure your boyfriend wouldn't notice a few remaining splats of paint and if he did, you can come up with an excuse of having helped a friend? Someone dropped paint next to you?...
If you don't think you'll ever wear them in public again (which would be a shame!), why not screw one screw back into the toe part and then just rip it out? It shouldn't do too much damage, but the holes on the right shoe still don't look like they've seen much pain.
Also, to clean them, why not put them in a bowl of (aggressive) bleach for more than just a minute or two... maybe half an hour? one hour? They should look shiny again afterwards, but make sure to have a look at them regularly so that they don't get completely ruined.
Last but not least, you could certainly wear them when relaxing/working in the garden. It's always a good spot and the Sleeks will give you the needed footing when walking around. I'm sure the rubber sole as well as the leather upper will keep your feet well protected from all the sharp and nasty tools lying around!
And if you should go for a walk or jog, why not wear them and have some fun in puddles and mud on your way?
