Any type of shoe abuse. Broken heels, well worn shoes, scuffed shoes, torn shoes, shoes run over by cars, shoes dragged on the ground, crinkled pointy toes, shoes sawed in half, shoes run over by cars, lost shoes, shoe trees, trample, crush, etc. Any other discussion or photos having to do with shoes, boots or other footwear, abused or not, is welcome.
Alle Arten von Schuh-Missbrauch. Abgebrochene Absätze, sehr getragene, abgenutzte, verschlissene, zerissene, überfahrene Schuhe. Schuhe über den Boden gerschliffen, zerknitterte Schuhspitzen, zersägte, plattgetretene, zerquetschte Schuhe, verlorene Schuhe, Schuhbäume etc. Jede andere Diskussion oder Fotos im Zusammenhang mit Schuhen oder Stiefeln oder andere Arten von Schuhen, missbraucht oder nicht, ist willkommen.
A few months ago I posted this message showing these beautiful red pumps, and said these shoes were not to be abused.
Well, times have changed. When my wife dressed up for a photo session last week, she put on these shoes. When I said :"ok, nice, but which shoes do you take for the photo session?", she smiled and answered: "I don't need others, these are gonna be abused today!. I have worn them once to a party, and when I walk swiftly, my foot tends to slip out. So I don't want them anymore."
Now unfortunately we had not been able to shoot pictures that day, and hence the shoes were not abused and are still in almost mint condition. But the next time that we'll do a session, these very nice shoes will be the subject of our abuse. Isn't that something nice to look forward to??
If it is only rocks I fear that they are not sufficiently damaged. The upper part is suede leather and I assume sea water has a catastrophic effect on it.
Mud would be nice also, but I don't expect any rain and mud pools within the next 6 months and I don't want to wait that long.
We might also decide to abuse them little by little, and shoot more than one series. Dunno yet...
You could have her lose the loose fitting shoe somewhere, so she has to walk in one shoe, ruining one foot of her tights, then have her take it out on the remaining shoe, just a thought, Joe.
Joe, that sounds about right and it fits the story line. I hope I can convince my wife to sacrifice a pantyhose, she always is so careful with them LOL
