My little outing on Saturday

Just thought I'd share a couple of pics of my outing Saturday morning at the nature center near my house. Sorry no video to go with them but hopefully later when I go back it will be worth the wait The first and last are just a sample of the lovely swamp I was walking around in (after about a half mile walk in my boots); the second is a pic of my "goth boots" in about the average depth I found, about 2 inches of water and 3 inches of mud. I did find one spot I could get calf deep in without too much trouble, but I didn't spend long or wander too far, because it was the first time I'd seen it, and I didn't want to get lost out there!
