It would be great if someone could make a shoe burning video and have a young woman watching the fire and screaming in the background. She would be the voice of the dying shoes

I know I have told this before but when I was a small child I had a pair of slippers, they were my favourite and I called them my fairy slippers, so soft and they had a motif of something on the toe although what it was escapes me now Inam old. I recall one day my father took them, (I guess they were worn out by then?) and when I looked for them my mother said he was going to put them in the bonfire. I recall running in desperation as fast as my little legs could carry me only to see him toss them into the flames. I was shocked, upset and horrified but also fascinated at how the flame quickly ate my pretty helpless slippers as they curled up and died in agony. I think that was my first burning of shoes experience or at least the one that In recall because of the emotion involved in it. Like my princesses were being sacrificed.

Maybe find a pair of your wife's favourite pumps or boots, etc and feed them to the flames letting her know just before you do it so she has no chance to save them. Obviously buy her a new pair, or dven better maybe find an old pair the same as her ones and let her think you are burning her pretty shoes so she pleads for mercy for them. I imagine there would be some strong emotions on show at least until she finds they are not really her shoes. Maybe a divorce or two as well!!!!! Perhaps thinking about that a sister or mother's pumps would be better? After all we have to live with wives and I find it is better to not upset them too much. But it is nice to imagine.

Think it all started in the 80's, red nails, smoking and high heels. Always had the thing were the Reeboks were sitting ready, the woman clearing out the fireplace, no interest of tthe poor old sneakers sitting waiting, once the fire place was clean, she lifted one without remorse by the writting on the back and went to place it in the fire grate but the phone went, she held the poor shoe while taking the call, all along her long red nails dug into the soft Reebok writting at the back and the soft nylon tongues had to wait. Once the phone went down she went back to it, putting the poor Reebok classic in place with fire lighters underneath, swan matches strike, and under the shoe lit, then she throws sticks on and bits of slack coal, only tops of the tongues i can see with a phut sound of the flames as i cry inside as i can't proper see the word Reebok drip and fade behind the coals and the nylon tongues give up against a stronger enemy !

Were these baby slippers leather? How would you feel if I burned similar little shoes or leather slippers?

Gosh it is so long ago now, I think that they were mainly leather or artificial leather for the most part with rubber soles. But I think that the top of the toe area was a sort of nylon or other synthetic material. This was the bit with whatever the pattern or emblem on it was, this melted away really quickly whereas the rest of the slippers curled up.

Not sure about using small child stuff, seems just wrong somehow to me. I know it is just shoes and not children but it is symbolic of that and just to me in my mind I do not think I would like it. Something weird about kids stuff, should be off limits I feel. I know I mentioned it but that was in regards to myself at that age and informative of why I'm like this sort of thing from my formative years. I would not consider doing this with children's shoes now I am an adult. I just would feel wrong going there. So please, no. It would turn me off this thread.

If you could find an adult pair similarly built that would be OK. I have seen many women's slippers of this type over the years. So he's by all means do it with similar styled slippers from adults. That would be fun to watch and no doubt bring back memories.

I agree with you in every way. Kids or Kids shoes should be off topic for me.
Could you please post a picture from similar looking home slippers? Had there been open toes or wedge heels?
I'm into sexy lady's home slippers as well as far they are female style.
