Water Survival Experiment with Full Kimono and Geta Sandals

Recently came across this video, the channel is about disasters survival. This time they have collaborated with a kimono lovers in Kanazawa, which provided some old (but still looking great) kimono for the experiment. One set costs US$2000+ when new. 
The participants were dressed in full with traditional tabi socks (thick hard cotton) and geta (leather or faux leather upper, leather sole). The silk and leather do not like water, so the outfit is probably disposed afterwards.
