Thanks LP&G! Here are a few more pics of the new ones... They were relatively inexpensive and she says they are really comfortable, so you can all look forward to updates as she breaks them in (give us 5 months or so).





As far as the old ones go, these are still very active in our lives. One of the heels has broken loose so she won't wear them out if she has to walk long distances on them. But she'll wear them if we're popping out to rent a movie or something quick like that.

Thanks for all the messages and requests for these but we are not ready to part with them. These have been a huge investment for us. They were pretty pricey at the time and she promised me that if I bought them for her she would wear them all the time. God bless her, she made good on that promise! In 4 or more years she has worn them EVERYWHERE! No matter how inappropriate! In the rain, to the beach, in a field for 4th of July fireworks - all without my having to ask.

The heels have been re-tipped too many times to count and every time the shoe repair person offered to fix the holes in the toes she refused These most recent pics represent the most deliberate abuse she's ever given them. I'm more interested in long term abuse made from authentic wear-and-tear. Nothing beats that! I love well worn shoes, how could I give up shoes that have been worn to death by my best friend in the whole wide world?

If there is enough interest (someone wants close-ups of the insoles) I can take more detailed shots of the old ones, let me know!

Sorry to see these BCBG Katchens come an end. Im sure they produced many a boner in their day!

Those were some of the sexiest, affordable pumps. Lots of women were wearing them around here. Very eighties but with the low vamp very slutty as well
