On platform shoes/boots, where platform and heel are not one piece, but which still do not have to be able to roll off when walking normally, I was thinking of strengthening or better waterproofing the sole core.
Remove the insole, pour some liquid epoxy resin in, just enough to spread it thinly on the beforementioned cardboard so that this is fully covered, but does not add more thickness than needed.
Let it harden, glue the insole back in (household contact cements often surpass the factory glue) and those shoes should be rock-solid.
Polyester resin may also work, but this stuff heats up while hardening, may heat up too much.
On boots getting into them it may be a little difficult.

Never tried it yet as a precautionary method, though.
But I had to do such after a pair got soft, was much more work.

Thanks so much for your replies!!! :D :D :D
Dear justauser it was so interesting to read such a detailed study about pleaser thigh highs!!!! :D :D :D And about the materials too - I prefer lack /vinyl/ too!
Dear boots_in_2_deep, thanks for your advice too. I don´t forget to dry them as soon as possible - filling them with newspapers! A yes, I like type DELIGHT 3000 too! :D :D :D
Now I am thinking about - what boots to choose from these 3 types ?
DELIGHT 3000, DELIGHT 3010 or ELECTRA 3000? To be good for getting wet and not to be to tight for my calves too. Thanks for your answers!

The best suggestion I can make is to measure your calves, and Google each style, looking for the boot height or shaft height, calf and top opening circumference and realize that the measurements will increase with the shoe size, and examples given are usually for smaller sizes. Some websites have charts with all the measurements for each size in a given Pleaser style, it may just require looking in several places before you find them. I can wear anywhere from a ladies' size 9-1/2 through 11M US but going larger gives you more calf room if you need it (then wear thicker socks as needed). Some styles are available in wide calf and thigh, but they are much too big for my 16-1/2" calves. I like the Pleaser/Funtasma Lust-3000 because of their 3-3/4" heels, but the calf size even in size 11M is small for me, and the vinyl starts peeling at the seams after a while. I am considering going up to a size 12 for the calf, but I'm afraid they will be too big in my feet. They have a wide calf version, but in size 10 and 11 they are too big in the calf for me.

Absolut wasserdicht!
