cut sneakers into slipper

So after reading this I was wondering if it's true and if anyone has done anything like this or would try it? Or even destroyed some sneakers in a certain way so they can still be worn. If so shsre

P.S. I had a bag full of most of my destroyed shoes still that I sometimes wear

U mean something like that?
Wife needed some house shoes. Took her Nike air max classics and cut off the heel.
She still wears these everyday sockless at home, house n garden...

Now those are awesome! I actually was reading some more how people were doing that or cutting them up more and wearing them in public too. If that's so then I need to move to where they do that lol

..just cut down another pair, my nike free this time... good to use for summer now...
