Just realised I got the Asics model wrong - they are GT1000's. They are getting a bit long in the tooth now - might buy myself some Kayanos tomorrow to replace them.

So I am going to be left home alone for a few days in a couple of weeks which means I might be able to pull off something I have wanted to do for ages - fully encase a sneaker in jelly! The question is, which shoe to use? I think a superstar would look nice but would float which makes things hard. A...

I don't know if this specific to our stores or not, but yesterday at Ikea I noticed that the display shoes in the shoe racks had been fixed to the racks by drilling two holes through the soles and threading a cable tie through them. There were some nice shoes there too! Worth a visit just for that :)
